For me, the launching of the KCA’s website is a dream come true. It’s a great feeling to be up in cyberspace and in a position to connect with countless KCA fans, supporters and well-wishers across the city and state. Ever since Kanpur Cricket Association became a team to reckon with, in its re-invented avatar in the new millennium, I have felt the need for the KCA’s managers and players to come together with fans on common ground quite different from the cricket playing fields, a ground that is real enough but virtual. This website fulfills that aspiration, and does so in a number of ways. Up-to-date association news and developments, match results, upcoming fixtures, coming face-to-face with your favorite player or a coach you admire – all this is happening on www.kanpurcricketassociation.com.

My vision for the association initially was to make a mark at or near the top of the cricket promotion and development, the best in our city. It then broadened to making a mark in U.P. Cricket. Now is the time for us to recognize that the love and support of our many fans was a factor in propelling us this far on the exhilarating but long, yet-to-complete journey towards perfection that we set out on.
